Amplifying complementary missions

By invitation-only, ABMF partners with select non-profit organizations to leverage our mutual networks with a goal of educating the public – especially younger generations, about the service and sacrifice of American service members to protect liberty.

A project of the American Studies Center, the American Veterans Center and World War II Veterans Committee has worked to preserve the legacy of our veterans and military personnel for more than 20 years.

American Veterans Center

Some AVC programs:

  • Producer of the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, DC

  • American Valor: A Salute to our Heroes, an annual Veterans’ Day television spectacular, this is just one of AVC’s award-winning documentary programs and TV specials

  • Annual Veterans Conference & National Youth Leadership Summit with a focus on ROTC cadets

  • AVC maintains an oral history collection of veterans’ interviews, with a subscriber base of more than 1.5 million on YouTube and Facebook, and total views of more than 1 billion

We Are Project Hero

Some AVC programs:

  • Project Hero offers multi-day rehabilitation therapy cycling rides (some with adaptive bikes) of varying lengths throughout the U.S. and Europe including visits to ABMC cemeteries and memorials as alternative therapies for PTSD and TBI treatment, as well as physical injury rehabilitation

  • Project Hero HUB chapters offer group rides and activities in more than 50 cities throughout the United States

Founded in 2008, Project Hero is dedicated to helping veterans and first responders affected by PTSD, TBI, and injury to achieve rehabilitation, recovery, and resilience in their daily lives.
